FOREVER BILL has posted respectable efforts in defeat the last twice over C&D. There was plenty to like about his penultimate 2nd by ¾ of a length and now well-drawn we could see a deserved maiden win.

PEUT ETRE MOI is coming to the boil nicely, improving with each run to date. She has every right to press for an open account but has a lousy draw to overcome. ZIPPY OVER is similarly a progressive type who has to work from a less than ideal barrier of 8.

Race 4 – Kenilworth Racecourse
MARIA QUEROL is 2 from 3 over C&D and should be in top shape after a couple of spins here after a break. She has a solid draw and won’t have to dig too deep to get back on the board. ZARINA has 2 wins and a place from 4 C&D outings and wasn’t disgraced when 4th on comeback latest. With that under her belt she can offer plenty of resistance from pole position.

HYDE PARK has found the frame in his last 4 outings, including a 7f win at Durbanville back in July. He’s gaining serious momentum and could really relish the return to the mile here. SACHDEV has found the frame a couple of times over track and trip in the past and should take a step toward peak fitness after a respectable 4th on comeback after a short break.

Race 6 – Kenilworth Racecourse
SILVER DARLING is a classy filly who does her best work here, and wasn’t disgraced when 2nd over 8f here when gunning for a hat trick when last sighted in November. She can continue her ascendancy and earn her black type. CELTIC NIGHT was last seen beating none home over the mile here when gunning for a hat trick. We can forgive the misfire as her prior form is stellar and she has to be respected in these surrounds. Trip suitability is taken on trust, however.

CAPITANA has a superb local record, including 3 C&D wins and 3 placings. Last seen denied into 2nd over 5f here by a head she’s in top shape and will be a serious runner despite the awful draw. SOUND OF WARNING could prove too good here, Sean Tarry’s filly was last seen bolting up over this trip at Turffontein at G3 level and should take this up in task with grace.

POLAR WORLD was fairly well-backed on debut and rewarded such support with a convincing 2 length C&D score last month. She has plenty more to come and should take plenty of beating with that run to draw from. LA FOILE DOUCE has struck the crossbar the last twice and shouldn’t be far from notching a 2nd career victory.
