BODY ELECTRIC was a dominant 4+ length winner on debut over C&D but failed to back it up when sent off at G3 level over 6f. She can bounce right back in much calmer waters. PACIFIC GREEN is a fellow debut winner who couldn’t handle a marked up in grade. She recovered fairly in 4th here since and should have more to come.

DOUBLE DUET is a hit and miss sort but is nonetheless capable of having his way for Justin Snaith if not in need of a pipe-opener. SUDDEN SONG showed a step in the right direction when 4th over 6f here and warrants plenty of respect.

METAR has proven a highly progressive filly for Brett Crawford and her latest 6f 3rd looks ample form to be a primary contender here. She may find the missing piece of the puzzle now upped in trip. AIR OF ROYALTY is forgiven a misfire when 5th over C&D latest. Her prior 3rd here can be built on from a strong draw of 3.

ISLAND TREASURE has posted a mixed bag of results but nonetheless makes fair appeal as she drops in class on the hunt for a deserved post-maiden victory. DAUGHTER OF ZEUS has been doing good work without winning at higher levels and is a massive danger having also been eased in grade.

NAVY STRENGTH was far from disgraced in 5th when upped in class following a convincing maiden victory over the mile here on penultimate outing. A similar effort in this lower level can see this Snaith charge break into the winners’ circle once more. MILLAHUE has been in good heart of late and could find plenty of further improvement now upped in trip once more.

SILENT TRIGGER won well over C&D on penultimate outing before having to settle for ¾ lengths 2nd on double bid here. He can post yet another strong effort in ideal surrounds out of gate 2. GAUDIS MASTERPIECE was 4th to the selection here in June and should be in the mix, following a good 3rd at Durbanville.
