FOXINTHEBOX is interesting now fitted with cheekpieces following a much-improved 3rd at Ludlow in February.

Race 4 – Kempton Racecourse
TWENTY TWENTY looks dangerous off a 109 mark following a convincing enough C&D score in mid-April. The handicapper hasn’t gotten a hold of him yet and he can build plenty of the effort for Gary Moore. DANNY KIRWAN is up just 3lb for a dominant Ascot score. He has won 2 of his last 3 and is certainly not going to lie down for the red-hot Paul Nicholls team.

BIRDS OF PREY has been progressing measurably since returning to these ranks. His latest 2nd at Wincanton was indicative he might be on track for a deserved victory here with both his yard and rider in top form. FUGITIVES DRIFT is in a similar boat to the selection after finding his own runner up finish on comeback after a wind operation.

Race 6 – Kempton Racecourse
RAYA TIME failed to land a single blow when 40 lengths last in a 4 horse field over 2m here at G2 level. However, prior to that he held off all rivals to score with 20 in hand at Ludlow at handicap level. Back in these ranks off a 139 mark he can regain some prestige with sights lowered. RETURN TICKET looks best of the rest after getting home by a neck at Ayr a month ago.

MIDNIGHT CALLISTO dominated rivals by 26 lengths at Exeter back in February before not beating one home in the soft at Doncaster in March. She since found redemption by ½ a length at Stratford and looks capable of a double off 6lb higher in these ideal conditions. CHORAL WORK is interesting tackling the handicap ranks for the first time after a win and 3 silver medals since joining the hurdle ranks. Olly Murphy has his runners in good shape and she can put forth a nice effort off 108.
