RED TREASURE got home with style at Southwell latest and weathers a 7lb penalty for the effort. Hollie Doyle takes over the ride and the pair looks primed for a big double bid. MISS MAI TAI is a player having found 2nd on penultimate start on her sole outing over this surface.

LADY DREAMER caught the eye when 40/1 2nd on debut at Newbury to a winner who has gone in again since. Now paired with Tom Marquand, a wide draw can be overcome and improvement achieved. ALEXANDRETTA was beaten by just a neck over C&D on debut and warrants plenty of respect on compensation bid, now racing with experience.

STARSHOT has not been able to make much of an impression over 6f in 3 starts to date. Now upped to the mile he’s fancied to come into his own on trip ranges suited to his pedigree on nursery bow off a 69 mark. LUFU is set for a big effort following a short head maiden success at Wolverhampton. She’s expected to find further improvement in these ranks.

PRETENDING was nothing of note in 11th on debut over 7f back in November. Rested till August, she made a big impression when scoring by a head over 11f at Southwell. Another furlong may well assist her to back the effort up. TREBLE JOY has landed 2nd in all 3 outings since joining Gary Moore. He’s a winning chance but is just as likely to settle for more silverware.

BUNKER BAY has found 2nd the last twice over shorter and is a fair chance at making amends now upped in trip again. A 2lb hike will make things a bit tougher but he’s looking up to task. STUDY THE STARS is a local winner who was convincing when taking out a 10f even at Newbury with 3+ in hand on penultimate outing. He can cause plenty of damage out of pole position.

PICUAL won by a neck over 10f at Nottingham in June before a strong 2nd when upped in grade at Sandown. A 72 day rest and see him fresh for another rise in trip off 2lb higher. GOOD AMERICAN was a fair 5th in a hot York handicap and is eased in grade. He can prove a danger for Ralph Beckett.
