Race 1 – Greyville Racecourse
JUNGLE JUNCTIONS has come close in both runs to date despite not finding a podium finish. Both races have produced subsequent winners and he could get his way this time, provided he gets a good start. RED MAHOGANY has given us glimpses of promise to date but has had breathing issues the last twice. Having had plenty of time to recover and now under the care of Alyson Wright we could see a turnaround.

Race 2 – Greyville Racecourse
MIA LOA has shown herself a capable sprinter in 2 appearances, including 2nd at Scottsville by ¾ of a length over the extended 5f. She’s bred for stamina and could take the up in trip in her stride out of pole position. AZUCAR can put her experience to work here, having found the frame the last thrice. She’s likely to return to the Highveld with a cheque of some form.

Race 3 – Greyville Racecourse
GIANTS CASTLE showed vast improvement when 2nd over the mile here early in the month. He’s in top shape now and could get the account open from a solid draw. INTREPID ACT is an improving sort who could unlock a lot now tackling a longer trip and the AW for the first time. Anton Marcus in the plate is a reassuring sign for Garth Puller’s charge.

Race 4 – Greyville Racecourse
AMERICAN STYLE was rather disappointing when 3rd in a 4 horse race at odds on over 7f here latest. It’s too soon to write her off and now afforded a much longer trip in a decent sized field she could progress. TOP TEN was looking to be an improving sort until a couple of trips on the turf sent her backward. If she can tap into her old momentum over what should be an ideal C&D she’s a chance from best of the draws with a claimer booked.

Race 5 – Greyville Racecourse
MONARCHY is in top shape, winning 3 of his last 4, all here in a similar trip range. Effective over both tracks here, he’s out of pole position and could take some serious stopping. EARL has done his best work over this trip range and is of interest now tackling the AW for the first time.

Race 6 – Greyville Racecourse
WOODSTOCK FESTIVAL scored convincingly from a wide draw over C&D back in early March. A similar draw isn’t ideal but he could back it up well attract plenty of support along the way. IMPARTIAL was last seen a decent 3rd over turf at Scottsville before a 74 day break. He’s drawn well and may be able to make amends to supporters.

Race 7 – Greyville Racecourse
MISS CHARLOTTE has found 3rd the last thrice, including twice since being refitted with blinkers. She’s down in trip and well-drawn here so could build nicely on these efforts. ARIANOS SPINNER has pole position and a chance to make up for a slow start latest. She should find improvement on return to a C&D she has proven herself over.

Race 8 – Greyville Racecourse
CAPTAIN WHO was a very impressive winner with 3 in hand at 10/1 odds over at Scottsville late last month. He’s coming back to the AW where he won over C&D by a neck back in November. He could double up here from the best of the draws with a capable rider. PURPLE POWAHOUSE couldn’t get san opening when ¾ a length beaten in 4th over C&D last month. He’s a serious chance at making amends from gate 2 and demands respect here.
