She has accounted for some of these rivals in the past and has some impressive stamina in her bloodline. QUANABI finished just behind the selection at Scottsville in June but showed marked improvement since when upped to this trip again.

Race 2 – Greyville Racecourse
WITHOUT QUESTION was beaten by a head at Scottsville on penultimate start. He was sent off favourite on return as he sought compensation but could do no better than 5th. He showed good staying ability so could get it right here now over Poly and given some extra yardage. ROCK FALL has shown plenty to like in a couple of runs over this surface since joining Paul Lafferty. He is set for a big run now dropped in trip on what should be his peak run.

Race 3 – Greyville Racecourse
GIACOMO PUCCINI is lightly raced on this surface but has managed to notch a win and a 3rd in two attempts. He wasn’t great over this trip over turf latest but could well get it right on the AW. DANILO DANILOVITCH had excuses when 5th in a valuable Listed race over C&D latest. He is more than capable of getting his way now in calmer waters.

Race 4 – Greyville Racecourse
GIN AND TONIC reopened the account by a head over 7f here following some fair efforts in defeat. She’s capable of backing it up but now eased in trip needs to fire up sooner. GREEN DREAM won narrowly over 7f here on penultimate run before being denied the double by a short head when dropped to this trip. She’s in a good pocket of form and would not be winning out of turn.

CAPTAIN WHO makes fair appeal as he sheds the blinkers after being eased at the weights. He has accounted for some of these rivals previously and could get up with an honest effort. RUNAWAY SONG is highly progressive and demand respect on hat trick bid. The form has been franked and he looks very capable of giving away weight.

Race 6 – Greyville Racecourse
BELL JAR fired up too late when ½ a length 2nd over C&D at the start of July. The winner has gone in since and she has been rested. Her earlier form is consistent and she’s a serious chance to bounce back with a better timed offensive. DAWNOFANEWDAY has rattled the crossbar the last twice and is interesting making a second attempt over the Poly after being beaten by just a short head in April.

IMMEASURABLE made a strong but agonising start over this surface when beaten into 2nd by a short head over 9f. A drop in yardage and a 3lb claimer can see Sean Tarry’s charge gain due compensation. ADMIRAL BIRNHAM won over slightly shorter here back in May and is more than capable of building on that on return to this surface.

BEND THE RULES was an impressive winner over a similar trip here 3 weeks back. A draw of 4 is very workable and we can see a coherent effort for the duet. HIGH GREEN has been in good form since winning over the extended 8f in May and warrants plenty of respect.
