Race 1 – Goodwood Racecourse
LEGEND OF DUBAI was sent off favourite on hat trick bid in the Royal Hunt Cup at Royal Ascot but couldn’t land a blow. He was far from disgraced that day and is quite capable of improvement in these ranks for Roger Varian as he tackles 10f for the first time. BELL ROCK is a consistent player who often finds himself in the money. He is capable of plenty coming back to handicapping following some excellent efforts at top levels.

Race 2 – Goodwood Racecourse
GALERON was a fair 5th on debut but the lessons obviously stuck as he went on to win impressively over 6f here since. The runner up has won since do the form reads very well, with the extra furlong likely to suit. HOLLOWAY BOY was a shock 40/1 winner on debut over this trip in the Chesham Stakes at Royal Ascot. Karl Burke’s colt should come forward plenty with that as a launching point.

Race 3 – Goodwood Racecourse
LUSAIL is a very talented Richard Hannon colt who has placed the last twice at G1 level, including 2nd by a head in the St James’ Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot. That is form enough to have leading claims here. SACRED won’t lie down for the power team of Willie Haggas and Tom Marquand. He was just a length back in 5th in the Platinum Jubilee Stakes at the Royal Meet. He has fair claims but does have to account for the selection.

Race 4 – Goodwood Racecourse
KYPRIOS capped off a superb hat trick with a narrow but convincing success in the Gold Cup at Royal Ascot. He went up in class with each leg of the trio and can keep his streak alive with Ryan Moore retaining the ride. STRADIVARIUS is very dangerous and demands resect having won this 4 times running. He was 3rd to the selection in the Gold Cup after issues in the run and will likely be involved in the finish once more.

Race 5 – Goodwood Racecourse
EQUALITY was far from disgraced when 3 and ¾ lengths 12th in a valuable handicap at Ascot earlier in the month. He has been eased 2lb for the effort and looks to be in a good place for a renewed offensive for Charlie Hills. CELSIUS has a hat trick firm in the crosshairs and has to land it off a 5lb higher mark. Jack Mitchell is back in the plate and the pair should enter the equation.

Race 6 – Goodwood Racecourse
MISCHIEF MAGIC made a pleasing start to life when 3rd over C&D back in May. Rested since and with the form taking a boost, Charlie Appleby’s colt has the services of William Buick and should sharpen markedly for the experience. SUPREME KING was a good 2nd on debut at Haydock and can also improve enough to be a player for Richard Hannon and Ryan Moore.

CRYSTAL CAPRICE has improved with each run, culminating in a commanding 7 length success over this trip at Yarmouth. Now turned handicapping, she has an opening mark of 87 to work off and should be right amongst it. BREAKING LIGHT unlocked massive improvement when a 2+ length winner at Haydock following wind surgery. He can remain competitive off 5kb higher with Hollie Doyle taking the reins.

Race 8 – Goodwood Racecourse
KIDWAH kicked off her career with a nice double over this trip before a decent 3rd at Newmarket when sent handicapping and up in grade. She is back over 6ftoday and can put the lessons to good work. CRAZY LUCK has won her last couple by very narrow margins and does have a chance at the treble, with the 3lb rise cancelled by her rider’s 5lb claim.
