MISS FAIRFAX has found the frame in both hurdle bouts and each run has been franked since. This looks her ideal time to get her own account open with minimal grief. EUREKA CREEK has also found the frame in both hurdle bouts and is a winner between the flags. She could offer plenty of resistance with fair claims of her own.

SERIOUS CHARGES showed a lot of promise when striking the crossbar on rules debut in a Chepstow bumper in early December. The third has gone on to score since and with that run under his belt he can go one better for Anthony Honeyball. SCARFACE has shown glimpses of promise in 3 bumpers and could sharpen up now heading over timber.

Race 4 – Exeter Racecourse
SEVENTEEN O FOUR opened the hurdle account in good style at Chepstow latest sporting cheekpieces. They stay on here and he can double down now heading into the handicaps and upped in trip. TREMWEDGE should probably have won by now but has found the frame in 6 of 8 hurdle runs so does need to be given some consideration here.

BRANSON MISSOURI won with a dominant 6 in hand at Uttoxeter latest and now the penny has dropped Harry Dunlop’s rare National Hunt runner can double down despite the 7lb hike. SABBATHICAL is down 2lb after finding the frame the last twice after winning a Fakenham chase with 21 in hand. This is a drop in class and he should prove a serious contender for Evan Williams.

Race 6 – Exeter Racecourse
GETMEGOLD fired up late at Fontwell on chase bow to make up some ground when 5th. While he was well-beaten the turn of foot was pleasing and now dropped in class that sort of effort could be enough in this field lacking much form of note. EROS showed decent staying ability in 3rd at Warwick over 2m and could benefit from the extra furlongs today.

FIRESTREAM showed ample potential in 4th on debut at Ascot and backed it up when 2nd at over C&D latest. With those runs to work from Anthony Honeyball’s gelding could make it 3rd time lucky. LEISSIERES EXPRESS kicked things off well when 3rd at 40/1 at Warwick last month. With experience to work from he can make his presence felt.
