Race 1 – Doncaster Racecourse
PALM LILY kicked things off with a convincing win over 6f at Kempton in June. She wasn’t able to land a blow went upped to the G3 Princess Margaret at Ascot but should bounce back down in grade and upped in yardage. MISTY BLUES has been in good heart since winning her maiden in June. She was a good 2nd at York latest and the 3lb hike is cancelled by her rider’s equivalent claim.
Top Tip – PALM LILY (2)
One to consider – MISTY BLUES (3)

MAGICAL SUNSET won narrowly but convincingly on debut at Windsor last month. The runner-up has franked the form nicely and she looks poised to remain unbeaten for Richard Hannon. COLD CASE is very dangerous off the back of his pleasing 3rd in the Gimcrack at York. He is up a hefty 14lb for the effort and could come out swinging.
Top Tip – MAGICAL SUNSET (8)
One to consider – COLD CASE (1)
Race 3 – Doncaster Racecourse
DANCE IN THE GRASS won with a couple in hand on debut at Sandown before heading up to a Listed race over the same C&D. She won that narrowly but looks to have further scope and gets the vote for a hat trick on 3rd start now in Group company. FRANKNESS is worth keeping an eye on, last seen home at Chester with 6+ in hand when backed into oblivion. She was impressive for Andrew Balding but this is a much tougher task as she shoots for the hat trick, even with the added furlong tipped to suit.
Top Tip – DANCE IN THE GRASS (3)
One to consider – FRANKNESS (6)

Race 4 – Doncaster Racecourse
RIVER OF STARS found the frame in her first 3 starts before scoring nicely at Lingfield. She backed it up well when home at Listed level in a small field at Chester and has a nice shot at the treble off 5lb higher. ESHAADA carries top weight following a fair 3rd in the Lancashire Oaks at Haydock. She demands respect for Roger Varian but her claims are far from ironclad.
Top Tip – RIVER OF STARS (8)
One to consider – ESHAADA (2)
Race 5 – Doncaster Racecourse
ZAINALARAB was nothing special on debut but returned to score readily the next three times. He showed his best yet on handicap bow and looks set to notch further success as he lines up for the quartet. SPIRIT OF NGURU has been doing decent work in defeat since notching a nice double late last year. He’s down in grade slightly and has fair claims to press.
Top Tip – ZAINALARAB (7)
One to consider – SPIRIT OF NGURU (5)

ADAYAR returns from 327 days off but looks hard to oppose at this level in a 3 horse field. This looks an ideal comeback to propel him on toward bigger and better targets. MASEKELA can chase home the selection, making slightly more appeal than the other option.
Top Tip – ADAYAR (1)
One to consider – MASEKELA (3)
Race 7 – Doncaster Racecourse
HELVETIAN was a fair trip winner at Wetherby back in April and has had mixed results since. A 5f winner at Pontefract on penultimate outing, a similar performance off 4lb higher could see him back on top. COTTAM LANE is appealing now 3lb below his winning mark from August 2021. He has been doing decent work in defeat and warrants a look for Nigel Tinkler.
Top Tip – HELVETIAN (4)
One to consider – COTTAM LANE (2)

CRYPTO QUEST shed the maiden tag narrowly but well at Hamilton on final start for Kevin Ryan. He makes strong appeal at this course for his new team, having found 2nd in both runs here this year. SOMEHWERE SECRET isn’t consistent enough to get the outright vote but is quite capable of a good day.
Top Tip – CRYPTO QUEST (8)
One to consider – SOMEWHERE SECRET (6)
