WAITING ALL NIGHT held his own well enough at Group level in the past and should relish a return to the All-Weather. He has compensation claims following a ¾ length defeat when sent off favourite at Catterick and can press them off 2lb lower. CREME CHANTILLY made a fair impression in 2nd on debut at Salisbury in August. Experience and an extra furlong can see her contest the finish.

RUNNING LION was a huge 6+ length winner over this trip on 2nd outing under rules. This Gosden filly should have much more in store and could prove very tough to beat. SEA ME DANCE enters the calculus following a strong 20/1 debut 3rd at Kempton last month.

OASIS POWER gets a vote to exit the maidens before a scheduled 4lb rise happens. His latest ½ length 2nd over the mile at Southwell in a first-time hood reads well and the extra 2f today should only aid his cause. SOLITARY TREES is on the radar following back to back 2nd placings and should similarly find more over the longer run.

NO BARRIER was sent off in very hot water when making debut in the Convivial at York in August. He couldn’t do any better than 16th but gained meaningful experience. He made some fair headway when 4th at Pontefract since. A return to 7f can see him go better, provided he takes to the AW.

Race 6 – Chelmsford Racecourse
DYNAMIC TALENT has become a new horse since being fitted with blinkers along with the tongue-tie. His neck 2nd at Kempton was soon made up for and he now enters on an exciting hat trick bid. A further 4lb hike is not of major concern and he’s expected to secure the coveted prize. PUFFING was a good 5th on handicap bow at Kempton given the fact she conceded plenty of start. A better jump can see Ralph Beckett’s filly challenge.

AEONIAN is a debut winner who has managed to find the frame in all 3 subsequent outings. He was last seen racing too freely when 2nd at Newmarket over 10f. A drop back in trip might be the right move as he returns now a gelding with Ryan Moore taking the ride. STORMY OCEAN has been beaten favourite the last twice but has nonetheless given a good account of himself. He seems to be at his best on this surface and wouldn’t be challenging out of turn.
