KARIBANA is fresh off a convincing C&D win and a 4lb higher perch sees him remain competitive for Richard Hughes. He retains scope for improvement and a similar effort could prove tough to peg back. INIGO JONES is the danger on return to the AW following a lacklustre effort at Sandown.

BILLY MILL got back into winning shape when home at Kempton over the mile on penultimate outing. He backed it up well enough when a length 2nd over the same track and trip and has been handed a 2lb hike for the effort. MOBADRA lived up to market expectation when successful over this trip at Kempton back in November. He’s capable of winning fresh and could make a splash here.

VULCAN was a strong winner over this trip at Newcastle late last month and the subsequent 6lb rise is manageable. The runner up has boosted the form since with a very strong 4th in the John Smith. BOSS POWER posted a fair 4th at Epsom in a valuable handicap in early June and can do plenty of damage down in grade with Ryan Moore retaining the ride.

NAPPER TANDY was ¾ lengths 3rd at Lingfield latest and has since had a few months off to rest and recover having been gelded. He’s expected to relish this longer trip and gets the vote for a successful return. ARABIAN WARRIOR slid down the marks and made the most of it when home at Newcastle off 74 in a first-time visor. He is back up 5lb but could continue to improve with the headgear retained.
