HILTS showed up with airway issues when 10th of 10 at Pontefract. He’s better judged on prior efforts and if his health is up to scratch he can bounce right back.

RADETSKY MARSCH made quite the impression when 3rd on debut at Sandown last month. Archie Watson’s colt goes up in trip and should be able to sharpen plenty with Hollie Doyle retaining the ride. EASTVAN also made a strong debut, 2nd at Hamilton over slight further at 18/1 odds.

ZUMAATY is overdue a maiden win and looks on the precipice of achieving it, having been narrowly beaten the last twice. An unchanged 52 mark sees him in a fair spot to finish the job. ON THE RIVER has been in good form of late, following a trip win at Thirsk in July. He should put forward another honest account.

WOVEN showed a return to form when 2nd over C&D following some struggles over 7f. Another spin off 1lb higher can see him back on the scoreboard. MAPLE JACK has shown plenty of promise and is coming off the back of a convincing 3 length C&D win late last month.

MARTIN’S BRIG got home over this trip at Carlisle back in August and has landed in the frame in both runs since. A 5lb claimer booked today sees him in a great spot to get back to winning ways. RETIREMENT BECKONS is better than the 10th we saw at Hamilton. His earlier form, if reproducible can see him a big danger.

VALLEY OF FLOWERS won with authority over C&D on penultimate start before being denied a double by a short head at Southwell since. She can get right back to business on return here off 5lb higher than that success. CITY VAULTS has had a stellar year, notching a couple of wins and a few more placings. He can have a big say off a 64 mark.
